These Purchase Order Terms apply to all services provided by Tilford Drafting Services unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.
Services will be performed according to the scope described in the approved proposal or agreement.
Changes to project scope may require additional fees and schedule adjustments.
Payment terms vary depending on the type and scope of the project.
For residential drafting and design services, Tilford Drafting Services typically structures payments as follows unless otherwise stated in the project proposal:
An initial payment is required prior to the commencement of work.
This payment allows drafting, design coordination, and document preparation to begin.
A final payment is due prior to the release of final deliverables, including construction drawings and any coordinated signed or sealed engineering documents when applicable.
Tilford Drafting Services reserves the right to pause or suspend work if balances remain unpaid.
For commercial or larger development projects, billing will generally be performed on a time and materials basis:
An initial payment or mobilization fee may be required prior to the commencement of work.
Following project initiation, work performed will be invoiced every thirty (30) days based on time spent and services performed.
Hourly billing rates typically range from $50 per hour to $85 per hour, depending on the level of personnel involved in the project.
Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated in the proposal or agreement.
Invoices not paid within seven (7) days after the invoice due date may be subject to a late charge of three percent (3%) per month on the outstanding balance, calculated until the balance is paid in full.
Tilford Drafting Services reserves the right to pause or suspend work on projects with overdue balances.
Clients shall be responsible for reasonable costs incurred in the collection of unpaid balances.
Final drawings, documents, models, scans, and project deliverables may be withheld until all outstanding invoices have been paid in full.
All drawings, documents, models, photographs, scans, and design materials produced by Tilford Drafting Services remain the property of Tilford Drafting Services until payment has been received in full.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate project information, including:
Property surveys when required
Existing drawings or documentation
Engineering information
Municipal requirements
Project specifications
Tilford Drafting Services is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete client-provided information.
Minor revisions related to the original project scope may be included.
Major design changes or scope modifications may require additional fees.
Deliverables may include digital drawings, construction documents, 3D models, scans, or project photographs depending on the project scope.
Deliverables are typically provided electronically unless otherwise agreed.
The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Tilford Drafting Services from claims arising from construction activities, contractor performance, or project execution based on drawings provided.
Any dispute arising from services provided by Tilford Drafting Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation.
If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts within the State of Florida.
Approval of a proposal, authorization to begin work, or payment of an invoice constitutes acceptance of these Purchase Order Terms.
